On Friday, February 8th, 2019, the Fairview Heights Police Department received a warrant of arrest, charging:
With six-felony offenses stemming from three separate cases.
During the month of January, 2019, the police department investigated three vehicle burglaries on Chateau Drive, Peachtree Lane, and Jennifer Drive where wallets and debit/credit cards were stolen then used at convenience stores in Fairview Heights, Cahokia, Sauget, and East St. Louis.
During the investigation, Lewis was developed as a suspect through video surveillance and ultimately charged with the following:
Three counts of Burglary-Class 3 Felonies
Three counts of Unlawful Use of Credit/Debit Card-Class 4 Felonies
Lewis is currently being held at the St. Clair County Jail on an $80,000 bond (10% cash applies).
